Ako takmer 16 ročný fanúšik fantasy a inej literatúry, milovník čítania a snívania a samozrejme všetkého nadpozemského a nereálneho som bola okrem iného vychovaná na knihách o mladom čarodejníkovi menom Harry Potter.
Ako väčšina bestsellerov, ani Harryho nenechali dlho čakať na svoju filmovú verziu. Všetci fanúšikovia nedočkavo očakávali kto obsadí hlavné a vedľajšie úlohy. Tie šťastnejšie deti, konkrétne tie, ktoré žili vo Veľkej Británii sa ponáhľali na konkurzy kam sa len dalo. Joanne Rowling chcela nové britské tváre a tak sme sa dočkali trojice hlavných hercov označovaných ako „the trio“. Boli nimi, ako určite viete- Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grinth a Emma Watson.
Mladučká Emma ihneď zaujala režisérov aj samotnú Joanne. A tak sa stalo, že mladé dievča, ktoré podľa vlastných slov ani len neočakávalo, že by na konkurze postúpilo, sa stalo hlavnou ženskou hrdinku 7 dielneho románu a z Emmy sa stala hviezda.

Ale ako sa vyvíjal jej štýl?
Možno tým, že som „s ňou“ vyrastala a sledovala každý jej výstup na verejnosti ma zaujalo ako veľmi sa jej štýl vyvíjal. Malé dievčatko zo strednej vrstvy prišlo so strapatými vlasmi prišlo na prvé premiéry a odovzdávania cien oblečené smiešne. Ako sama povedala, nemala stylistu a s módou žiadne skúsenosti, a jej prvé „večerné róby“ pochádzali zo šatníka jej mamy. A tak to aj vyzeralo.

Maybe because I have grown “with her” and I watched each of her output in public I have been interested how much has her style changed. Little child from middle class came with messy hair and funny clothing on her first premiers. As she said: she hasn´t stylist and no fashion experiences. Her first “evening dresses” came from her mother’s wardrobe. It looked like that.

Po začiatočných výstreloch sa z malého dievčatka stala mladá dáma a aj jej štýl sa postupne zlepšoval. A keď po šiestom diele Harryho Pottera Emma začala predvádzať oblečenie nie len na móle, ale stala sa aj tvárou módnej značky Burberry (2009 f/w, 2010 s/s) a Lancome, nafotila editoriály pre také mená ako je Vogue, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Elle, Harper´s Bazaar a navrhla módny rad v spolupráci s nikým menším ako je Alberta Feretti bolo všetkým jasné, že s malej strapatej bifľošky vyrástla sexy kosť. A ku všetkému inteligentná. Emma stíha popri natáčaní a fotení študovať na prestížnej univerzite Brown.
